🌾 The Kernel: Season 2

Welcome to the Kernel Program Season 2! As a continuation of the successful Kernel Program Season 1, this new season is designed to further incentivize Corn adoption and ecosystem development. While Season 1 will continue on Ethereum Mainnet until December 31, 2024, Season 2 shifts focus to the Corn Maizenet, rewarding users for participating directly within the Corn Network.

Whether you're a user exploring BTCfi opportunities or a loyal supporter of Cornstars protocols, this guide will walk you through what Season 2 brings and how you can maximize your Kernel rewards.

Deposits which are currently accrueing rewards on Ethereum will continue earning Kernels for 30 days following Corn’s Maizenet official launch announcement. Stay tuned!

What Is the Kernel Program?

The Kernel Program is Corn’s ecosystem incentive initiative, rewarding users with Kernelsβ€”off-chain points representing your share of the initial $CORN Community Airdrop. In Season 2, Kernels incentivize real, on-chain activity within the Corn Maizenet, driving participation and growth across the network.

The Kernel Rate

info

🌟 Season 2 will distribute twice as many Kernels as Season 1! 🌟

This increase in KPH ensures that users who migrate assets and engage with the Corn Network early can maximize their rewards. Don’t miss the opportunity to earn more Kernels while supporting BTCfi growth on Corn!

What's New in Season 2?

  • Focus on the Corn Network: Season 2 exclusively incentivizes activities within the Corn Maizenet.
  • Double the Rewards: The Kernels Per Hour (KPH) rate in Season 2 is twice that of Season 1, making it even more rewarding to migrate assets to Corn and start earning.
  • Distribution Through Cornstars: Kernels are allocated directly by Cornstars (top projects on the Corn Network), giving them flexibility to tailor rewards to their users and drive meaningful engagement.

How Does the Program Work?

  • Earn Kernels: Engage with Cornstars protocols on the Corn Maizenet to earn Kernels. Activities may include staking, providing liquidity, yield farming, or interacting with specific dApps.
  • Discover Opportunities: The updated Earn and Explore page highlights all Cornstars protocols, helping you easily find opportunities to earn Kernels.
