Season 2: How Do I Earn Kernels?

The Kernel Program is back with Season 2, and this time it’s all about rewarding activity within the Corn Network! Whether you’re a seasoned BTCfi user or new to the Butter Network, here’s everything you need to know to start earning Kernels.

How Does It Work?​

In Season 2, CornStars (Corn's top projects) have received significant allocations of Kernels to distribute throughout the season. These Kernels are designed to incentivize meaningful participation across the network.

Each CornStar will have the flexibility to design their own incentive programs, tailored to their protocols and users. This means users can expect Kernel rewards for a variety of activities, including but not limited to:

  • Providing liquidity on core asset pairs in the main decentralized exchanges (DEXs)
  • Borrowing assets in lending markets
  • Swapping assets in integrated protocols
  • Participating on Galxe Quests

How to Earn Kernels​

1. Check Out Incentive Opportunities​

2. Participate in Network Activities​

Engage in eligible activities like staking, providing liquidity, or using other CornStar-integrated services to start earning Kernels. The more you participate, the more rewards you accumulate!

Just like in Season 1, users will be able to monitor their total Kernel earnings and their sources directly in the Corn App. This streamlined experience ensures you always know how much you’ve earned and from where.
