🚰 Testnet Faucet
In order to obtain BTCN on Corn Testnet, it first needs to be acquired on Sepolia Testnet and then bridged. To facilitate this, a facuet application has been built to allow users to request 1 BTCN per day and brdige it into Corn Testnet.
Testnet BTCN has no monetary value. Please use it responsibly, and be considerate of other developers needing access.
How to obatain testnet BTCN
Prerequisites
- A wallet that supports Sepolia Testnet
- Sepolia ETH in the wallet. Here are a couple of faucet options for this:
1. Navigate to the Faucet page
Use the following link to navigate to the Faucet page: https://faucet.usecorn.com/
2. Connect your wallet
Make sure your wallet is connected to the Sepolia Testnet.
3. Request BTCN
If your connectd wallet hasn't claimed in the last 24 hours and the faucet has BTCN available, click the "Claim 1 BTCN" button. Once the claim is completed, you will be notified and the BTCN will be available in your wallet.
4. Bridge BTCN to Corn Testnet
Once you have received the BTCN, you can bridge it to Corn Testnet using the Temporary Testnet Bridge page, also linked from the Faucet app. In the bridge app, select the amount of BTCN, click "Review Bridge" and then "Continue". Bridging to Corn Testnet will take around 10 minutes. You can track the bridging status within the bridge app.
5. Verify the BTCN on Corn Testnet
Once the bridging is complete, you can verify the BTCN on Corn Testnet by navigating to the Corn Scan page and searching for your wallet address.
